CCR: Music Video

The final product uses conventions by representing similar factors that make up the R&B genre. This is because in my product, it used similar camera angles and shots as the ones used in “Best Part” , another R&B song. This was shown through the pan shot, wide shot, tracking shot, zoom, and more that were used. We also used a split screen for the editing that was also used in this R&B song. This is seen in other music videos to help convey the story. In my final product, cams like these helped to represent and show different meanings in each scene. Commonly used in other videos are costumes, which were used in my final product.  Hi Media Studies Crew! Welcome back to another blog, I hope everything is well. Today will be the last blog about the process of creating this music video. In todays blog, I will also talk about editing, like I did in the last one. During the process of the editing, after putting all the clips together, I wanted to focus on the transitions and final touches.  Adding transitions to my music video will overall make the flow of the music video better and look more professional. This doesn't mean that I have to add any crazy types of edits or transitions to my video. Although, this does mean there are some more simple transitions available to make each scene go from one to another smoothly. After playing around with some of the editing and transitions, I got the music video to a place where I enjoyed the flow of it. For some of the scenes I added fades in or out to make it flow into the next one. This made the overall mood of the video more calm and help to portray the story of a toxi
