The color is Ivy: It is ready!

Hi Media Studies Crew! Welcome back to another blog, I hope everything is well. Today will be the last blog about the process of creating this music video. In todays blog, I will also talk about editing, like I did in the last one. During the process of the editing, after putting all the clips together, I wanted to focus on the transitions and final touches.

Adding transitions to my music video will overall make the flow of the music video better and look more professional. This doesn't mean that I have to add any crazy types of edits or transitions to my video. Although, this does mean there are some more simple transitions available to make each scene go from one to another smoothly. After playing around with some of the editing and transitions, I got the music video to a place where I enjoyed the flow of it. For some of the scenes I added fades in or out to make it flow into the next one. This made the overall mood of the video more calm and help to portray the story of a toxic relationship. I added different transitions for different clips, depending on what looked best with it.

After continuously playing around with everything I began to watch back through the videos. Through this process I was showing my group members how I was doing everything so they could use it for future references. When watching back through it a few times, there were a few things that I caught and immediately wanted to fix. One of these features that I caught was the audio of the video. Me group and I did not realize that there was a curse word in there at first, so we simply took the audio off. After taking the audio off I went to YouTube. I quickly found a clean version and did the same process as the first time I imported the audio. I simply screen recorded the audio and imported it into CapCut, and made sure it matched up with each clip. After this I played around with some of the filters and then started to rewatch the video over and over. After finally chatting with my team members, we decided we loved the way it turned out and it was finished!

Thats all for todays blog, thank you guys for logging back on, see you next time! Bye!!
