Introducing my crew!

Hello Media Studies Crew, thanks for coming back for yet another blog! For this final task, I will be working with my two close friends in my class, Roselyn Rodriguez and Michelle Martinez. I have had class with Michelle previously, but just had class with Roselyn this year. I chose to work with them because whenever given time in class to collaborate in class their ideas on topics and work impress me. Not only this, but they always turn in their work on time, in a scholarly manner.  It is also always good to be partnered up with someone that you a comfortable with when working together. I feel that this project will help us to get to know each other more and help teach each other. What I mean by this is that not all of us with think the same exact thing about everything, therefore we can share ideas inspiring new thought in each others minds. I know that if we work together this will be an easy and fun process for all of us. There won't be one specific person doing all the work, and their will be equal effort put in. Lastly, I would just like to say that I take my education and grades very seriously and would not risk having people in my group that would out my education in jeopardy.

Initially, we had decided on the horror genre. Because there is so much variation within a genre, it was difficult to draw conclusions. We also had to plan out the sequence of our film and the sequences we would perform. We also needed to keep in mind that some of the genres were difficult to define in two minutes. My group independently saw a few different shorts from each genre to see which might be demonstrated the quickest. We dismissed several genres right away as they weren't actually separate genres but rather were combined into one. We decided that we enjoy horror and thrillers after discussing our favorites. We enjoyed them both since they were meaningful and let us to create a lovely sequin and storyline. We debated for a while before deciding that selecting terror would draw viewers' attention and  curiosity right away. We're going to have a fantastic movie and a great time, I'm confident of it after worked with them previously! See you guys soon media study crew! Bye!
