Music Video: My thought process!

Hi Media Study Crew, what's going on! So far in the process of filming the video, my group and I have not started filming yet. Although we haven't started filming yet, we are finished with the planning and will start filming soon. For future blogs, I am planning on blogging every moment and step of the process of making my video. I am excited to create my music video so I can see my ideas that my group and I have made so far come to life. This song has a lot of meaning behind it because the words that this song has display a story. The story being told in this song is about a teenager breakup and what a toxic relationship looks like. These blogs and projects are more then assignments to me. This is because this a new experience for me. I have never made a music video before or learned about different elements of films.  This project allows me to obtain a new set of skills and gain new experiences.

During the preparation of this project my group and I did a good job at working on different elements. Roselyn did a great job at displaying our scenes in the storyboard. She displayed simple drawings and elevating them to show how each one will look like in the video. On the other hand, in the future I am planning on trying to make the video the best it can be. What I mean by this is that I want to make my groups video look as accurate to a real music video as possible. I will attempt to do this by getting the best shots possible, and best angles. In my video I would like the audience to truly be able to understand the storyline as much as possible. My group and I will allow this to happen by making each scene to flow together. This will be displayed in the video by showing good moments of a relationship and bad to represent the toxic aspect.

That is it for today Media Study Crew! Expect to hear from me soon, see you guys next time!
